A Place for Second Chances
The River’s Edge Ranch is a facility where broken lives are restored and equipped to live “the abundant life,” enabling each man to make a positive impact on his family, community and the world.
Located in the beautiful California High Desert, shadowed by the northern side of Big Bear Mountain and canopied by the clear blue skies of Lucerne Valley, sits twenty acres birthed into a vision of transformation. The property once used to rehabilitate ailing and injured horses is now a place of healing for spiritually ailing and broken men. This is The River’s Edge Ranch.
As scripture so clearly directs us, the purpose for this ranch is defined by the truth that Jesus came so that all men might experience abundant life. In this way, the River’s Edge Ranch provides a place for men to come face to face with Jesus Christ, so that they may experience restoration and a new life in Him.
We believe true life transformation begins with a transformed heart, and we are dedicated to providing an environment where men can come to a sincere “heart change” through intimate contact with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
“I came that they may have life, and might have it abundantly." - John 10:10
The River's Edge Ranch is a California non-profit 501(c) (3) organization located in Lucerne Valley, CA.

The Bible is our recovery. There are two Bible studies a day, praise and worship, and prayer times. We are a working ranch and believe having a set and full schedule for the men will help them succeed. We offer group and 1-on-1 counseling.

Fees
The Ranch offers its services free of charge to each man who finds his way to its gates. The Ranch’s operating costs are provided by private donors who believe in its purpose and want to partake in its harvest of transformed lives. Removing the financial burden from the men’s shoulders allows them to focus on the work at hand.
We encourage their families to financially support God’s work at The Ranch because every dollar their families sow to cover The Ranch’s monthly expenses will one day bring forth fruit in the form of brand new husbands, brothers, fathers and sons. Those that are able to give will actually bring forth a harvest within the walls of their own homes one day as mighty men of God return to their respective households.
